The implosion of the 6700 Troost building is a once-in-a-decade Kansas City event that showcases an important public-private partnership between the Rockhill Greens development team, Research Medical Center Brookside Campus, and the City of Kansas City to revitalize the urban core, create new jobs, and retain existing jobs.
Rockhill Greens is an ambitious new development initiative committed to revitalizing the under-utilized half of the RMC Brookside campus, formerly the Baptist-Lutheran Medical Center, into a thriving mixed-use community including senior living, apartments, commercial and retail uses, all focused on a healthy-living lifestyle.
The Rockhill Greens is partnering with RMC Brookside, a division of HCA Midwest, in redeveloping this strong transitional area of Kansas City. RMC Brookside will preserve all existing medical service offerings, consolidated onto the west half of the campus. And with the significant capital investment by both the Rockhill Greens investors and RMC Brookside, this revitalization initiative provides a major public-private partnership, while creating and retaining hundreds of jobs.
